Description:
You have landed here to see if this region has enough scrap to
support a base. You don't find any scrap, but you do see some
CCA units. Standing orders are to lie low and call for your
boss's choice of evacuation or reinforcements, but you see a
chance to be a hero and destroy the CCA base by yourself. The
CCA isn't expecting you. You can snipe whatever vehicles you
need to destroy the enemy base.
Tips:
Be sure you kill the enemy pilot on the first sniper shot. Zoom
in if needed. After surviving sniper shots, pilots move and
often fire back at you.
If you snipe a rocket tank, the mdm mortar has a greater damage
to ammo ratio than the hornet.
There's only one grendel.
You are trying to destroy the production units. Don't destroy
all the tanks. You'll need some for your own use.
You may notice that this is the same terrain from Small Venus
Map, with the Europa trn file.
Installation Instructions
-------------------------
Before you begin exit Battlezone if it is running.
1) All the files in the zip file need to be extracted into
your BattleZone\addon directory (folder).
2) This map includes a custom ODF file. As long as you do not
modify it, you can use it with the same name in other maps.
3) To run a single player map type the following in a DOS
prompt from your Battlezone folder: bzone dhrsnipe.bzn
If you have problems with this map, make sure you have the
following files in your Battlezone\addon directory (folder):
and that you are running version 1.4 of BattleZone. If
BattleZone version 1.4 is not in the Battlezone folder, put
the above files in the addon subfolder of the folder where
BattleZone version 1.4 is installed and run the BZone.exe
for version 1.4. If you have further problems, please
